FIAM Italy is pleased to announce the 30th anniversary of the Ghost armchair, the product-icon designed by Cini Boeri in collaboration with Tomu Katayanagi. The company is celebrating this important milestone by involving the architects and designers of the great FIAM family in creating a Mini Ghost collection. These miniatures of the armchair of the same name have been reinterpreted in a decorating job. The artists were given a brush and three shades of paint - from azure to blue - to give free flow to their imagination and to directly decorate the glass surface of the Mini Ghosts.

Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in 1983 as an industrial and general design and architecture practice. Archirivolto sees design to mean beauty, harmony and freedom. It cannot be constrained by rigid preset rules or exist as the privilege of a social or cultural elite. Apart from its focus on the household environment, Archirivolto also experiments in the worlds of electronics and architecture. For FIAM Italia they designed the Dandy chair and the Dress chair.

The work is made in two hand-decorated pieces: the one not at auction will be exhibited in the permanent FIAM ITALIA glass museum.

Each piece sold will be accompanied by a copy of the Ghost 30th Anniversary brochure.

Mini Ghost is made in Linea Azzurra transparent float glass, 5 mm thick. Dimensions: L 17.5 x W 15.5 x H 11 cm.
