"Milan Campione d'Italia" banknote by Gabriele Salvatore.
Take home this rare banknote celebrating Milan Campione d'Italia in pop style created by the artist Gabriele Salvatore using mixed technique on a digital base finished by hand and then printed on special paper. The work created in only 19 copies in the world (the same number of the AC Milan shields) bears the original signature of the artist on the back.
Over the years the artist has been invited to complete artistic collaborations involving celebrities including Tony Hadley, Paul Young, the Poohs, Morgan, Vittorio Sgarbi, Tony Esposito and the 1982 world cup champions, to name a few.
In 2013 he was selected to exhibit at the Florence Biennale. In 2016 he took part in a fringe event at the Architecture Biennale in Venice and was featured in the official catalog with a work created on double-layer painted plexiglass plates.
Also in 2016 Salvatore understood an important project lasting over a year, which consisted of fifty paintings dedicated to the fifty years of the music group the Poohs, who signed the works on a numbered certificate in progressive order. In 2018 he created and presented "Videoart", a collective exhibition of various works projected on maxi screens during a musical format entitled "The time machine".
