This auction is for a pair of DEK Plimsoles worn and autographed by the members of Mark Rylance. 

David Mark Rylance Waters is a British actor, theatre director and playwright. He was the first artistic director of Shakespeare's Globe in London, from 1995 to 2005. He has appeared in films including Prospero's Books, Angels and Insects, Institute Benjamenta, and Intimacy. Last year Rylance won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Rudolf Abel in Bridge of Spies. This year he has starred in Steven Spielberg's The BFG, a live-action film adaptation of the classic children's book by Roald Dahl.

This is the first year Mark has featured in the Small Steps Project auction.

He has kindly donated a pair of well loved white DEK plimsols in a size 8 along with a signed photo. They are autographed on the front of the shoe.
