Bid on this red satin Napoli away shirt, issued/worn by the Argentinian phenomenon Diego Armando Maradona for a 1988/89 Serie A championship match.
Also known as El Pibe de Oro, Maradona is considered one of the greatest footballers of all time and, by some, the absolute best. Absolute idol and icon of Naples, Maradona played with the light-blue jersey for seven years and won two Scudetti, a UEFA Cup, an Italian Cup and an Italian Supercup.
Despite Napoli's second position in Serie A behind Inter and the Italy Cup Final loss against Sampdoria, the 1988/1989 season has gone down in Club history for the conquest of the first International Trophy: the UEFA Cup won in the final against Stuttgart.
The back of the shirt has even been autographed by Maradona.
