About the artist:

Andy Warhol was an American artist known for leading the Pop-art movement and considered one of the most influential figures in contemporary art. He extended Duchamp's ideas by challenging the very definition of art and became a prominent artist of the 1960s Pop-art. His genius continues to influence contemporary art.
