Primož Roglič is a Slovenian road cyclist, born on October 29, 1989 in Trbovlje, Slovenia. He is known for his climbing and time trial skills. Roglič started his cycling career as a ski jumper, taking part in international competitions. Later, he moved to road cycling, showing exceptional talent.

Roglič has achieved a number of successes throughout his career, but rose to prominence in 2019 when he won the Giro d'Italia, one of cycling's three Grand Tours. This new initiative in collaboration with Filippo Baroncini, Lidl-Trek professional cyclist, Davide Cassani (former Italian national cycling coach and commentator), Alessandro Brusa (Inemiliaromagna Cycling Team mechanic), Alessandra Fior and Antonio Ussia aims to support the reconstruction of the library and school of the municipality of Sant'agata sul Santerno one of the municipalities most affected by the floods of May 2023 which swept through Romagna.
