This auction is for the red and black Germany away issued to Bayern Munich's striker Thomas Müller for the World Cup 2014 Semi-Final against Brazil, which was played on July 8, 2014 at the Estadio Minerão in Belo Horizonte. The match ended in a 1-7 win to the Germans, also marking Brazil's heaviest defeat in all competitions.
Thomas Muller, Miroslav Klose, Toni Kross (two goals), Sami Khedira and Andre Schurrle (two goals) were the goalscorers for Germany. Oscar's goal in stoppage time was useless. Germany went on to triumph in the final against Argentina thanks to a goal from Mario Gotze, making them World Champions for the fourth time.
The match went down in history as the "Mineiraço", in other words the second sporting flop in Brazil's history, following the famous "Maracanazo", the 1950 World Championship match that the Brazilian national team lost 1-2 to Uruguay in the last game, therefore, missing out on their first Rimet Trophy - much to the dismay of their supporters.
