Stefan Effenberg is a German football coach and former footballer who played as a midfielder, European vice-champion in 1992 with the German national team. Considered one of the best midfielders of his generation, he wore the shirts of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayern Munich, Fiorentina, Wolfsburg and Al-Arabi, as well as the German national team, with which he participated in the 1992 European Championship and the 1994 World Championship, racking up 35 appearances and 5 goals. European club champion with Bayern Munich in 2000/01, in the same season he was named Club Footballer of the Year by UEFA. Between 2015 and 2016 he also held the role of manager.
The shirt was donated by a former Serie B referee.
