Philippe Coutinho Correia is a Brazilian footballer, striker for Aston Villa and the Brazilian national team. Raised in Vasco da Gama, he made his debut for the Brazilian club at the age of seventeen. At eighteen he was bought by Inter, where he won an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup in two years. After a loan spell at Espanyol and a brief return to Inter, he played for Liverpool in 2013, where over the course of five years he established himself as one of the best talents on the international scene. Sold to Barcelona, after a season and a half he moved on loan to Bayern Munich, where he won a Champions League, before returning to the ranks of the Spanish club. In 2022 he moved to Aston Villa. With the Brazilian national team he competed in three editions of the Copa America (2015, 2016 and 2019, winning the latter) and one world championship (2018).
