Take home this white New York Cosmos home shirt worn by Dutch football legend Johan Cruijff for a 1978 season match.
The shirt has been washed.
This is a unique shirt, which marked Cruijff's return to football following his temporary retirement. The Dutchman decided to resume his professional career with the New York Cosmos, playing just two friendlies before changing teams.
This item comes from the private collection of the former Brazilian footballer Alfonsinho, given to him by German former defender Franz Beckenbauer when he played for the Cosmos in 1977, and it comes with a letter of origin signed by his sister Maria Auxiliadora Garcia Reis Castro Decaro.
