The Cause

The Caravan of Prevention is Komen Italia's traveling program thanks to which, for years, examinations for early detection of breast cancer and other women's diseases have been offered free of charge, particularly to women living in socially and economically fragile conditions and in places where prevention arrives with more difficulty.

With its 6 high-tech Mobile Units, the Caravan of Prevention has held 800 "Women's Health Promotion Days" in 17 Italian regions, concretely offering more than 200,000 women the opportunity to take care of their health "at home."
