"Sax Alto e Ritmi 3° Raccolta" LP by Fausto Papetti, 1962.
Vintage record preserved in its original sleeve. This 33 rpm is still in working order.
Born in Viggiù, Italy on January 28, 1923, Papetti was a naturalized Swiss Italian saxophonist. He had a truly unique talent that stands out in the history of music. In Italy he managed to break through with the so-called instrumental genre for the first time in the recording industry, a genre that had been snubbed by the charts until the early 70s.
Fausto Papetti's saxophone speaks to you ... That's right, it speaks to you in its own language made up of tense, insinuating, persuasive, restrained, aggressive notes, just as a human voice might speak to you to invite you to dance to the newest rhythms. Fausto Papetti's tracks are first and foremost an invitation to dance; the search for new themes, changes in rhythms and alternating atmospheres are nothing more than the cocktail that comes with any invitation to dance.
Record company: Durium.
