Andrea Bocelli is an Italian pop singer and tenor. He has recorded numerous operas and 16 pop and classical music albums. After working for a year as an assistant in a law firm, Bocelli decided to leave that position to devote himself completely to singing, taking private lessons. As a tenor his notoriety began in 1993, when he sang the duet Miserere with Zucchero Fornaciari, and then Il mare calmo della sera, penned by Zucchero, with which he won Sanremo in 1994 in the New Proposals category. Later he sang with many other well-known international performers, including Luciano Pavarotti, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Céline Dion, Christina Aguilera, John Miles, Marta Sánchez, Stevie Wonder, Hélène Ségara, Giorgia, Sarah Brightman, Laura Pausini, Natalie Cole, Mary J. Blige and Ariana Grande. An artist with Sugar Music record label, he is one of the best known Italian singers in the world.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.

Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.

At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.

We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
