Robert Lewandowski plays as a striker for La Liga club Barcelona and captains the Poland national team. 

He played for Borussia Dortmund during the 2012 season. He was a key member of the team and played a significant role in helping them win the Bundesliga title that year. In the 2012 season, he scored 22 goals in all competitions for Dortmund, including 10 goals in the Bundesliga. He also scored 3 goals helping lead the team to the final of the DFB-Pokal, where they won 5–2, their third DFB-Pokal triumph and the completion of their first Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double.
