Among the founders and leading figures in the New Futurism Movement, Marco Lodola is one of the most famous and influential Italian contemporary artists.
A versatile artist, his work is characterized by luminous plexiglas sculptures illuminated by neon or light tubes. Lodola's illuminated shapes are aimed at the general public of television, pop music, cinema,as he tackles the imagery of mass communication. His works are present in numerous museums, and he has created sets for films, broadcasts, concerts, musicals, theatrical and cinematographic events.
