Take home this royal blue/garnet red Barcelona FC home shirt, issued/worn by Argentinian star Lionel Messi, for a match against Real Betis, the 1st matchday of the 2017/18 Liga Spagnola Championship.

The game, played at the Nou Camp in Barcelona on August 20, 2017, ended in a 2-0 win to Barcelona thanks to an own goal by Alin Tosca and the goal scored by Sergi Roberto.

On Thursday, August 17, 2017 the city of Barcelona was struck by a terrorist attack: shortly after 5pm a white van drove into the crowds on the famous Las Ramblas.

For their match against Betis, the Blaugrana players wore special shirts in remembrance of the victims of the attack. On the front is the phrase "TotsSomBarcelona," (WeAreAllBarcelona) and the back bears the name "BARCELONA" instead of the players' names.

Since 2005, Laureus Italia has been developing and supporting numerous projects aimed at minors living in situations of severe socio-economic deprivation, helping them to feel part of a community. In addition to supporting minors in difficulty, the Laureus Italia Foundation also caters to coaches, educators and teachers through training courses.

The Laureus Foundation, in fact, uses sport as a tool for the inclusion and contrast of educational poverty to accompany minors in their growth path. The activities take place in the outskirts of Italian cities including Milan, Rome, Genoa, Naples, Catania, Palermo and Turin and involve and support over 3000 children in the practice of 20 different sports activities, including football, basketball, surfing, judo and many others.
