Mateo Kovačić is a Croatian footballer, midfielder for Manchester City and the Croatian national team, world vice-champion in 2018. Raised in Dinamo Zagreb, he joined Inter Milan in January 2013. Two and a half seasons later he moved to Real Madrid, where in three years he won a Spanish Championship, a Super Cup, three Champions Leagues, two European Super Cups and two Club World Cups. In 2018 he moved to Chelsea, winning a Europa League, a Champions League, a European Super Cup and a Club World Cup. In 2023 he moved to Manchester City.
