Júlio César Soares Espíndola, (Duque de Caxias, 3 September 1979), is a Brazilian sports agent and former footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. Considered one of the best goalkeepers of his generation, he began his career in Flamengo. In 2005 he joined Inter, where he played until 2012 and won fourteen trophies: five Scudetti, three Italian Cups, four Italian Super Cups, one UEFA Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup. After spells with QPR and Toronto FC, he moved to Benfica, winning three Portuguese league titles, a Portuguese Cup, two League Cups and a domestic Super Cup. He retired in 2018.
The shirt can only be considered issued because there was an error in applying the Coppa Italia and Scudetto patches.
