Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. (Lansing, Michigan, August 14, 1959) is one of the most successful American basketball players of all time. He played as a point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. Along with Larry Bird, he is considered among the figures who have made the NBA what it is today.
A certificate of authenticity sticker and QR code from Beckett is supplied with this lot. The jersey comes from a private signing session held in Dana Point in California in 2021 attended by a Beckett employee who was present throughout Magic Johnson's signing session with this jersey. The COA consists of a single Beckett adhesive serial number on the jersey with a QR code which, when scanned allows the auction winner to verify the authenticity of the signature on the Beckett website.
Earvin Johnson has signed the shirt on the back, making it a unique collector's item.
