Ivo Còtani, born in 1991, is a multifaceted artist: a painter, performer and teacher.
He grew up in Ascoli Piceno, in the Marche region of Italy. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
He furthered his studies in Madrid where he also obtained a diploma in theatre.
From 2012 to 2019 he displayed his works as part of various collective exhibitions and has also presented three personal exhibitions including:
- “Hedonsim” personal exhibition at the “Galleria Monti 57” in 2020
- “Baccanale”, at the Muvis museum in Castiglione In Teverina
Critics Stefano Traini, Taiysia Libokhorska, Paolo Berti, Roberto Maria Siena, Federica Fabrizi and the newspaper il Resto del Carlino have written articles about him.
He lives in Rome where he continues to work as well as holding courses and workshops.
In October 2020 the public will be able to visit "Chakras", Ivo Cotani's solo exhibition at the Cola d'Amatrice municipal hall in Ascoli Piceno, Italy.
