Take home these gloves signed by Vito Dell'Aquila, an item the Olympic taekwondo champion is very fond of, worn in many competitions. Size M.

Vito Dell’Aquila, is Italy's first gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in taekwondo 58 kg.

Born in Mesagne (BR) in 2000, he started practicing taekwondo at the age of eight, at the New Marzial gym. Since 2018 he has competed for the Carabinieri Sports Center. He achieved his first international podium place in a big event at the Muju 2017 World Championships. At the 2018 European Championships in Kazan he won bronze medal.

Everyone agrees that his Olympic gold and extraordinary successes achieved so far are down to Vito's hard work and dedication.

The Cause

For over 15 years OBM ONLUS has been committed to offering aid to women, children and families who come to the Vittore Buzzi Children's Hospital in Milan, helping to make their experience gentler as they are treated, offering them a welcoming environment and giving them access to healthcare excellence and technological innovation. OBM ONLUS operates daily in 3 specific areas to provide optimal solutions for children, babies and their parents, so that they can receive the best care to grow up healthy and happy:

1) giving the hospital a human touch by creating colorful play areas for children, offering a warm welcome to aid treatment and reduce the stress of hospital stays;

2) providing assistance to families by offering psychological support and hospitality to make their experience less traumatic;

3) aiding technological development within the hospital by purchasing medical and diagnostic equipment.

The hospital is still in the middle of the COVID emergency. There have been better times but now we have a lot of sick children. We have decided to strengthen the neonatology area, so that every newborn can be welcomed in the safest way possible. COVID has seen an increase in premature births and so the hospital needs more special cots to help the newborns grow strong. Our goal is to donate an Infant Warmer to the Buzzi Neonatology department, a station complete with all the necessary equipment to be used in the dedicated COVID area or moved to the delivery room.
