By bidding on this auction, you will have the chance to take home the “Germania-Italia” artwork made by the Italian singer and artist Francesco Tricarico as a tribute to the legendary Italian soccer player Andrea Pirlo.

Painting is gestures, signs, movements and actions, which is why it’s similar to soccer. In the blink of an eye, the artist/player has to choose where to direct the hand/foot, understand the direction of the ball/brush, simplify or enrich his actions.

Francesco Tricarico, known for his songs, decided to dedicate his paintings and drawings for the one-of-a-kind genius Andrea Pirlo.

In view of the much-awaited Andrea Pirlo’s farewell to football match “Notte del Maestro”, Tricarico turned the impossible paths of the best landscapes, strokes and inventions done by Pirlo on the pitch into brushes and colours.

The former midfielder Andrea Pirlo has even autographed the painting, thus making it a truly unique piece of memorabilia. The artwork will be also autographed by the other players who will take the field during the “Notte del Maestro” match.
