This artwork was edited by J. Schneider / Wucua in 1969 for the French Railway Company (SNCF). It belongs the "Butterfly suite".
Rare proof on wove vellum, not the ordinary edition on light paper.

About Salvador Dalí

Salvador Dalí was a Spanish Surrealist painter and printmaker known for exploring subconscious imagery. Arguably, his most famous painting is The Persistence of Memory (1931), depicting limp melting watches.
