Take home this box containing an original fragment of the royal wedding cake from the marriage of Charles and Diana; a traditional fruit cake with cream cheese frosting.

An information card is also included with the precious item, serving as a certificate of authenticity.

The wedding of HRH Charles Windsor, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer was an international event. Watched by around 750,000,000 people around the world, the wedding was the culmination of a fairytale in which a kindergarten assistant teacher became a princess overnight.

Please note: This piece of cake has not been stabilized in any way. This item is intended for display only and should not be considered food. It should also be noted that 40-year-old fruit cake tend to have a somewhat sticky texture. Therefore, some fragments may stick to the acrylic top when opening the box.

The Cause

History Life Onlus was born out of a group of young volunteers’ passion for history and culture.

Our belief is that knowledge is the heritage of us all and that every one of us should know his/her own past in order to become a better version of himself/herself.

At the center of our activities are the protection, promotion and enhancement of culture and art in all of their forms and expressions. To this end, one of our main goals for 2017 is to create a fund for scholarships for deserving but economically disadvantaged students.

We believe that knowledge is a right of everyone: every citizen of the world should have the possibility to access it, independently from his/her economic situation, because only instruction makes men truly free.
