Photograph autographed by the two historic former Juventus and Italian national team players Paolo Rossi and Antonio Cabrini, captured with their arms around each other at the end of a 1982/83 season match.
Spain, 1982. An extraordinary journey under the leadership of the football legend Enzo Bearzot. After the initial three draws against Poland, Peru and Cameroon, Italy was placed in Group C together with the South American giants Argentina and Brazil.
Two historic performances saw Italy make it to the Semi-Final, where they were to meet Poland again. Pablito Rossi would be the one to get the national team to the Final. The Italy-Germany match was played on July 11, 1982 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid. Rossi, Tardelli and Altobelli made history and Italy became world champion for the third time.
