Andrij Shevchenko is a Ukrainian football manager and former player, who played as a striker. Considered one of the strongest and most complete strikers of all time, he made his debut for Dynamo Kiev, where he won five Ukrainian championships and three domestic cups. In 1999 he joined Milan, where he played for seven seasons, winning a Scudetto, a European Super Cup, an Italian Super Cup, a UEFA Champions League and an Italian Cup. In 2006 he was bought by Chelsea, where he won an FA Cup and an English League Cup. In the summer of 2008 he returned to AC Milan for an one-year loan. Back at Chelsea, he terminated his contract with the English side to return to Dynamo Kiev, where he won a Ukrainian Super Cup in three years. With the Ukrainian national team he competed in the 2006 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship played at home, after which he retired from competitive activity. Ballon d'Or winner in 2004, in the same year he was included by Pelé in the list of the 125 best living footballers. With 111 games played and 48 goals scored, he is the second player with the most caps for the Ukrainian national team and the first in goals scored. He is also second in the ranking of the best goalscorers in AC Milan's history, after Gunnar Nordahl.
