The Prize

Get behind the controls of an ex-military Strikemaster Fighter Jet and feel the adrenaline rush as you Fly a Fighter Jet at North Weald Airfield.

You’ll receive a shared safety and pre-flight briefing from your licensed Jet Legends pilot, where you’ll choose your flight path and be given instructions on how to take control of the aircraft. Briefing complete, don your flying suit and helmet and get ready to take to the skies 2000m away from the tarmac runway.

The only ex-military fighter jet experience available in the UK, the pilot will demostrate a range of aerobatic and combat manoeuvres in a Strikemaster aircraft. As you soar into the air, expect to enjoy a sustained G-force of up to 5G with speeds of 300mph.

T&C's:

The passenger must sign an undertaking that he/she has no medical condition which would affect their ability to undertake the proposed activity
Spectators are welcome, and facilities on site usually include the availability of hot drinks and snacks
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
This experience is available on selected dates throughout the flying season, usually April to November.

The Cause

THE CIRCLE was founded by musician and activist Annie Lennox in 2008 to fight for equal rights for women in every country, promote female empowerment, and tackle violence against women and girls.

The Circle works with grassroots partners to provide urgently needed help to women and girls who have suffered abuse and violence – such as counselling, access to safe accommodation, legal advice, education and coaching – whilst campaigning and advocating for the long-term changes needed to enable women and girls to break free and move on from violence and fear.

This auction is just one of the ways that The Circle is working with its members, partners, supporters and allies in 2022 to mark the 16 days and take action against gender-based violence.
