AS Roma and Roma Cares take to the pitch alongside the World Food Programme, the global organization committed to stopping food waste that was this year awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

For the match against Torino, the AS Roma players wore special shirts featuring a World Food Programme patch to mark the Club's support for the organization.

The proceeds from these auctions will be collected by AS Roma through the Roma Cares Foundation to support a series of shared projects with the WFP throughout the year.

The WFP currently gives aid to more than one hundred million people in over ninety countries. In addition its constant commitment to help those suffering from hunger, the agency works to promote sustainable eating habits.
