Exclusive stool with a structure in polished or painted trivalent chromed steel, designed by Cassina.
Freestanding leather seat with chromed steel framework. The first version, studied by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for the dining room of her Place Saint-Sulpice apartment in Paris, was proposed with a tubular metal structure and woven rattan cane seat. For the "Equipement Interieur d'une Habitation" project in 1929, the stool was set in the salle de bain with a sponge seat—a symbol of personal hygiene, which was a strongly-felt concern of the 1920s.
