This auction is for a pair of black leather Doc Martens worn and autographed by Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice. They have been donated from her personal shoe collection.

Wolf Alice are a young four piece band from North London that have taken the alternative rock scene by storm. Their single "Moaning Lisa Smile" from the EP "Creature Songs" peaked at #9 on Billboard Alternative Songs in August 2015, and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance in 2016.

This is the band's second year of supporting Small Steps Project

This year Ellie Rowsell has generously donated her much loved blackleather Doc Martens, signed on the outside ankle ofright boot "Ellie". They are a UK 6.

"I bought these boots when i was about 18 and wore them to pretty much every gig since from my local open mic to Brixton Academy. They probably stink but have become something of sentimental value to me, and am happy to hand them over to Small Steps for a new home, and not tempted to hoard them for the rest of my life."

Wolf Alice donated these shoes when played at this year's Glastonbury Festival on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday afternoon.

Ellie Rowsell has personally donated these shoes in support of Small Steps Project.
