Bid to take home this stunning and exclusive work by Dismaland (attributed).
About the Artist:
In 2015, Banksy created a large-scale installation called Dismaland Bemusement Park, an immersive and fully functional amusement park that contained political commentary on wealth distribution, sexism and the UK government. The park, which ran from August to September 2015, was funded by Banksy himself. The park sold stencils created by Banksy to reproduce his works, the project was called "Enjoy your free art", in criticism of the art market. In and beyond Dismaland park, various artists have created graffiti on cardboard, canvas or banknotes using these original stencils. The works are not attributable to Banksy. They are souvenirs and documentary evidence of the witty and original park created by the British artist.
Banksy is a graffiti artist, political activist and anonymous filmmaker based in England. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humor with graffiti done in a distinctive stencil technique. Banksy's political and social commentary works have been featured on city streets, walls and bridges around the world. Banksy's work originated from the Bristol underground scene, which involved collaborations between artists and musicians. Banksy says he was inspired by 3D, a graffiti artist who later became a founding member of the British musical group Massive Attack. Banksy displays his art on publicly visible surfaces such as walls and self-made physical props.
