Take home this very rare single pterosaur tooth. It comes from the geological formation of the "Kem Kem Beds" in Morocco and is associated with Coloborhynchus, a pterosaur of the lower Cretaceous period.
Pterosaurs are an extinct species of flying reptiles, which lived throughout the entire Mesozoic age, from the Upper Triassic to the end of the Cretaceous, approximately 230-65 million years ago. Pterosaurs were the first vertebrates known to have evolved and adapted to flight.
Please note: There are a number of teeth available so the photograph is purely illustrative.
