Deep Purple signed photo display. A live action photo of the band playing along with a signed card signed by the current four members of the the band. These are Ian Gillan,Roger Glover, Steve Morse and Don Airey. A rare and great piece of music history.
Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford in 1968. The band is considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock,They are considered one of the unholy trinity of heavy metal, along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.Over the years their musical sound changed from progressive rock to heavy rock. They were listed in the 1975 Guinness Book of World Records as "the globe's loudest band" for a 1972 concert at London's Rainbow Theatre.
They have sold over 100 million copies albums worldwide and have had several line up changes and several hiatus's.
The band's line-up includs Ian Gillan, guitarist Steve Morse from 1994, keyboardist Don Airey and Roger Glover Bass.They were ranked number 22 on VH1's Greatest Artists of Hard Rock programme and a poll on British radio station Planet Rock ranked them 5th among the "most influential bands ever". The band received the Legend Award at the 2008 World Music Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
