This work is part of the Damien Hirst’s The Currency digital art project. This project sees the artist embrace the NFT world, as innovative and groundbreaking as always. The auction winner can decide whether to keep the work in NFT format or exchange it for the physical work.

In fact, each NFT created for the project corresponds to a physical work stored in a vault. At the moment of selection, the corresponding alternate format will be destroyed.

In this way, the collector is taking part in the NFT vs Physical Art race. Over the years which will have the highest value? We’ve become used to Damien Hirst’s works going for staggering amounts, shaking up the art market, for example with his famous 12 million pound shark, to name just one.

The Currency project has so far seen sales totaling $ 69 million with top prices of $ 180k.

Each piece is unique, produced using artificial intelligence to make every spot of color different in every work. And the titles are equally unique, created using a database of 10,000 words extracted from the most famous and played songs in the world, produced by machine learning.
