And the Reds looked to make a fast start to the 212th meeting between the clubs. Van Dijk, Konaté, Alexander-Arnold and Gomez all got close as Jürgen Klopp’s team attempted 34 shots on target and had 12 corners over the course of the 95 minutes, while Alisson was on hand to make one of his impressive signature saves in the second-half. But ultimately, the latest edition of one of world football’s biggest fixtures ended with a point apiece from a 0-0 draw.
