The Prize

This couture evening dress donated by designer Eric Way was made in the 1980s and formed part of his 1950s Couture collection, showcased at Paris Fashion Week in 2004.

The collection caught the eye of Patricia Field, stylist for the famous Television sitcom Sex and the City, and Eric Way went on to design outfits for her for the SATC series that were worn by Charlotte York (Kristen Davies) on the hit tv show.

This classic black Duchess Satin dress is a strapless full-length evening gown with soft floating gode silk chiffon inserts from the knee down. The dress boasts stunning attention to detail with a band of Swarovski crystal embellishments that create an elegant dropped waistline. This item is a size 8.

A matching Duchess Satin bolero jacket with fluted cuff detail compliments the beautiful dress. Sparkling Swarovski crystal braiding is used as edging to accentuate the neckline and perfect the silhouette of the outfit.

The purchase of unique items through an auction house requires careful evaluation by the buyer. We invite you to personally examine all the information and material at your disposal, including our returns policy, before proceeding with purchase.
