Bruno Biondi, born on June 20, 1969 to a father working in advertising, grows up immersed in communication and design.
Color blind from birth, from a young age he showed a great talent for drawing, which tends to be black on white paper. He graduated as a Master of Art and at 19 began his career as an advertising creative. His magical color spectrum, so different from the average one, become a strength rather than a limit. He became a Creative Director, while still maintaining his passion for drawing and art, which over the years has developed into his most vivid and complete form of expression.
Moving from the figurative to the informal genre, the color loses its centrality, dominated by the two absolute opposites, black and white, but the artist continues to hold on to it. It returns in its purest form in isolated cases, giving life to monochromatic red, white, yellow or blue canvases that are upset and canceled out by their fusion with black, remaining as just traces - a buried memory or alluded-to desire.
In the works, communication always takes place through the metric of the vertical sign where every straight line has its own history, in its energy, concept and matter. The artist displays a preference for larger formats where the "Vertical Concept" can impose itself without limits.
