Como remembers Giuseppe Sinigaglia with a commemorative jersey!

Como have paid tribute to the historic feat of Giuseppe Sinigaglia with a special shirt issued against Mantova on 01/06/2015 in the Lega Pro. The shirt has been signed by all the players.

Sinigaglia, who the stadium of Como Calcio is named after, was a rower at the beginning of the 1900s. He was the first Italian to participate and win the prestigious Diamond Sculls in 1914, a rowing race equivalent of a world championship today.

It is 100 years since that victory and Legea have created a commemorative jersey with white and black details, these are the colors of the Rowing Lario Sinigaglia belonged to. The model is still used today by Como 2013/2014, and is characterieed by the shape of the Lario lake.

Colored with shades of black and white are also the sponsor logos and the arms company. On the back, just below the collar, is a coat of arms with two oars with the inscription "1914-2014 Sinigaglia eroe di Como" (hero of Como).

On the left sleeve is a Live Onlus patch, the charity, to mark the occasion, gave the club a defibrillator thanks to the project CuoreBattiCuore. By winning this shirt you will support the project .
