Columbus Crew Soccer Club has kindly donated a 2015 home shirt signed by striker Kei Kamara to help raise money for Football Cares.
The MLS side announced their support for the Football Cares initiative in early September and the decision to donate a shirt signed by Kamara was a fitting one considering where the money raised from the auction will go to.
Kamara, who played in the Premier League for Norwich and for Middlesbrough in the English Championship, is a refugee himself.
At the age of six, Kei had to flee Sierra Leone when civil war tore apart his country. His journey took him to Gambia, the United States and eventually back to play for the nation where he was born. He finally found home in Columbus, where he's established himself as one of the top goalscorers in the MLS.
Football Cares would like to thank Columbus Crew Soccer Club and Kei Kamara for donating this fantastic signed shirt for the auction.
