The Cause

Elio e Le Storie Tese, Trio Medusa and Cesvi #insiemeperlamusica.

Elio e le Storie Tese, Trio Medusa and Cesvi have launched the #insiemeperlamusica initiative to support musical groups heavily affected by the arrival of Coronavirus. Not being able to perform live, the bands had a heavy setback in their activity and #insiemeperlamusica want to contribute to helping a sector that is suffering.

The biggest names in Italian music and entertainment have joined the initiative, putting some of their most precious objects up for auction to continue supporting music at this difficult time.

The funds raised will go directly to support the musical groups in difficulty who can apply by December 15 by presenting a musical project in the form of a demo of a published or unreleased song, to obtain a contribution of up to a maximum of 3,000 euros each. The nominations will be evaluated by a judging committee made up of Elio e le Storie Tese, Trio Medusa, Friends & Partners and Cesvi, chaired by host Cristina Parodi. A part of the funds raised will also be donated to the Casa del Sorriso di Cesvi in Brazil which offers music courses and rehearsal spaces for young musicians from the Manguinos favela in Rio De Janeiro, continuing support throughout the Covid-19 state of emergency.
