“Les Cannes” silk scarf, 90X90.
The adventure began in Paris in 1837 when the harness-maker Thierry Hermès opened a workshop. Later, in 1870, his heirs moved the workshops to 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the location that has become iconic and is still today the headquarters of the maison and its runway.
Today the company chaired by Patrick Thomas, great-grandson of the founder and representative of the fifth generation of Hermès (the family still holds 86% of the capital), stands out for its production of small handmade leather goods, adopting the philosophy of "innovation in the continuity of tradition".
Join the online event on February 4th with two very special auctioneers, Katia and Angelo.
