INTERNI, the Magazine of Interiors and Contemporary Design, and CAPPELLINI joined to celebrate the 60th anniversary, for a good cause.

CAPPELLINI presents the Embryo Chair, design Marc Newson (1988), padded and covered with a special bi-elastic red fabric. 

Embryo Chair, armchair with three legs and metal structure is one of Marc Newson’s first design projects and it is proposed in an unusual red fabric. This product is one of the most significant works by the Australian designer. Embryo Chair is part of the permanent collections of Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (Germany), Museum of Modern Art San Francisco (USA).

This unique and special piece, will be displayed in the windows of the showroom of the brand in SoHo from 16 to 20 May, during the Fuori Salone of New York and ICFF – International Contemporary Furniture Fair. 

Interni, in fact, has chosen New York as the place in America to celebrate its 60th anniversary, and sixty years of Italian Design. For this occasion six companies in the field of accessories, lighting and living, symbols of the history of Design have presented a special one off edition, a single version of one of their most iconic products, made with a special finish and dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Design.

The proceeds of the auction will support The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF)

Conditions: Winner will be notified by e-mail. The products will be shipped from the U.S: shipping and handling charges (customs fees for shipments outside the U.S. and additional domestic, and international insurance) are at the expense of the winning bidder and they will be determined based upon the winning bidder’s shipping address. The product must be collected within and no later than 30 days from closure of the auction.
