The Prize

On the Ariston stage, Dargen D'Amico performed the song "Dove si balla".
Dargen D'Amico is an Italian rapper, songwriter and record producer, founder of the independent record label Giada Mesi together with Francesco Gaudesi.
He jokingly defines his genre as "emo rap", implying the use of personal and intimate themes in his music.
For the Sanremo Festival 2021 the rapper wrote the songs "Dieci" by Annalisa and "Chiamami per nome" by Francesca Michielin and Fedez. In 2022 he took part in the Sanremo Festival again, this time as a competitor, with the song "Dove si balla", which finished ninth at the end of the event.
