With the clubs he has won ten Serie A championships, one Serie B, six Italian Cups, seven Italian Super Cups, one UEFA Cup, one Ligue 1 championship and one French Super Cup. He is the player with the most appearances in the history of Serie A. He also holds the record for appearances (176) with the Italian national team.
