Bottle of Brunello di Montalcino, 1998 - Tenuta Torciano.
Vintage wine is not to be considered as a product to be tasted, but as an emotion to give that brings with it the memories of a past time.
It is first and foremost a collector's work, with high antiques value and only later, if you are lucky, a wine to taste.
All vintage wines are subject to a multitude of variables that condition aging with the passing of time so as not to guarantee drinkability, the only way to understand they are still drinkable is to uncork them.
Pierluigi Giachi is at the same time owner and winemaker of Tenuta Torciano and carries on the centuries-old tradition together with his wife Luciana and their children, Emanuele and Vittoria. Tradition, passion, instinct and love are the principles that have marked the management of the company by the Giachi family, which in 2020 celebrates its 300 years of activity, during which the art of tariff wine is always handed down from father to son.

Dottor Sorriso Onlus was the first organization in Italy to even introduce Clown Therapy to rehabilitation institutes, to bring smiles and laughter to children affected by intellectual and motor disabilities. At the same time, over the years, the foundation has created a series of international projects in support of other organizations operating in difficult or emergency settings such as Macedonia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Romania, India, Palestine and Burkina Faso.
