Drill Monkeys The duo was born in 2012 with Emanuele Palermo and Alessandro Padovan (born in 1985 and studied art the first, born in 1983 and studied technical drawing the second). Both art lovers, they decided to experiment with a new language using the technique of painting on screws. The aim of their work is to break the usual boundary between painting and sculpture. The screws give three-dimensionality to their works, which personify their major inspirational sources, like graffiti, Pop Art and comics. They exhibited in art galleries in Italy and abroad, as they participate to important art fairs, like Affordable Art Fair in Milan.
