This auction is for the unique chance to have your portrait created by Sabrina Ravanelli, a leading figure on the Italian X Generation art scene, who was present in the Armenia Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale.

The artist will create a unique work for you using mixed technique on canvas, large format: 70 x 50 cm.

The technique was created by Ravanelli, who uses a variety of different materials, including scotch tape, as well as piercing and burning the canvas. The artist has brought this portrait technique, part of the Brand art trend, to her work with major companies around the world. For the Paul & Shark brand, she created a portrait of Steve McQueen, a symbol of the clothing company.

Ravanelli will paint the portrait starting from a high resolution image provided by the winner after auction closing.

The portrait will be of a single person, full-length, half-bust or a close-up of the face and so the reference image must depict the subject in one of these ways.

The commission will take approximately 15 working days to complete.

Born in Trentino and a graduate of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Ravanelli is known as the Material Queen of contemporary art thanks to her research on pictorial materials.

Sabrina is considered one of the most interesting artists of the X Generation: protagonist of numerous solo and group exhibitions, she took part in the 2017 Venice Biennale as a guest of Giorgio Grasso, official curator of the Armenian Pavilion.

Her works have been auctioned at auction houses including Art-Rite, Meeting art, Cambi.
