The Prize

Take to the pitch at the Mecca of soccer and become a midfielder for the day for the "Black and Blue" team in the 2023 CharityDerby at the Meazza Stadium in San Siro, Milan, taking place at 2pm on Thursday 8 June 2023.

The auction winner will have the opportunity to play in the most beautiful stadium in Italy, pride of Italian football and the city of Milan, and experience the 80-minute match as a starting player.

The CharityDerby powered by CharityStars is a special charity match, whose formations are made up exclusively of CharityStars auction winners, in support of "In Campo con il Cuore".

This match will give you the opportunity to feel like a true professional player for one day, experiencing the heart-pounding emotions of the day of the match: from entering the external San Siro car park to the pre-match briefing with the coach, the match and the post-match celebrations!

As a participant you will have your own personalized kit which you will receive to take home at the end of the match. In addition, you can bring a maximum of three friends who will be able to watch the match from the Red Tribune.

The team will have a former Inter legend as manager whose name will be announced in the coming weeks.

The winner will be able to take advantage of the following benefits:

- Entrance by car into the external San Siro car park
- Use of the internal changing room
- Customized Zeus Sport match kit comprising shirt, shorts and technical socks
- Insurance
- Masseur and Staff
- Certificate with medal
- Minimum 60 minutes match time guaranteed to starting players

Please note: Only adults with a certificate of sound physical health can play the match; the document must be provided to the organizers. Each player must be equipped with their own football boots.

The Cause

Every year in Italy alone, 60,000 people die of cardiac arrest. Often it is a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) without symptoms of any kind. In the case of SCA, it has been statistically proven that up to 30% more lives can be saved through immediate and proper first aid.

More specifically, it has been shown that external chest compression (cardiac massage) done by trained experts, who do not necessarily have to be medical professionals, followed by the delivery of a low-grade dose of electric current from an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), can restore normal cardiac function.

Training, prevention and the availability of life-saving defibrillators are the underlying goals of the project “IN CAMPO CON IL CUORE” (With Our Hearts on the Field). This project aims to educate athletes, young people and all citizens in basic first aid awareness to create greater solidarity and cohesiveness in our communities.

We expect all winning bidders and guests to conduct themselves appropriately and be polite and respectful at all times.
If, due to force majeure, the 2023 Charity Derby is not allowed to take place, the event will be postponed and each participant will be refund for the auction award amount.
Each participant in the 2023 Charity Derby must provide: name, surname, date and place of birth, an identity document and a certificate of good health within 72h of the award, as well as name, number and size (S/M or L/XL ) for customizing the match shirt and license plate number (only one) for access to the Stadium.

Service Fees apply to this lot: these are service fee that are commonly applied by auction houses for the sales of this type of service. This service includes the sourcing of lots, quality control, storage, sale and customer support. The minimum Service Fees applied to this lot will be €105.00.
