Alfaparf Milano, the #1 Italian brand in the professional haircare sector, is renewing its commitment to Dynamo Camp for the fourth consecutive year. The company will offer its support to the charity that helps children suffering from serious or chronic diseases with a special project in collaboration with Barbie, the doll that represents the values of diversity and inclusion, by setting up a special charity auction that will feature five Barbie Extra dolls with new extraordinary hairstyles customized for the occasion by Alfaparf Milano hairstylists. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Dynamo Camp to offer help to many more children and their families.

Lorenzo Marchelle, Alfaparf Milano Global Ambassador, wanted to make his contribution to the Alfaparf Milano and Barbie Italia campaign in support of Dynamo Camp.

He decided to make Barbie Extra #2 unique with a curvy body, a playful look and ultra-long and colorful hair styled into a mullet, short at the front and sides and long at the back. To make the doll a truly unique ollector's item, he played with different lengths to reflect the designer's personality!

原因

Dynamo Camp, a non-profit organization, offers free-of-charge Therapeutic Recreation programs to children and teenagers age 6-17 affected by serious or chronic illnesses, as well as to their families and healthy siblings. The activities take place at Camp in Tuscany and – thanks to both Outreach program and DynamoOffCamp truck – in hospitals and foster homes, and in the major Italian cities.

Located in Limestre (Pistoia province), Dynamo Camp is the first Therapeutic Recreation Camp in Italy. Dynamo Camp is a member of SeriousFun Children’s Network, a world-wide network of camps founded by Paul Newman in 1988.

The Therapeutic Recreation model – which is the basis of Dynamo’s programs – focuses on inclusion and socialization. All activities are managed by qualified staff and specialized medical personnel.

Since 2007, more than 35,000 children, teenagers and parents have laughed, played and reached beyond their limits thanks to Dynamo Camp’s Therapeutic Recreation.
