FIAGOP Italian Federation of Parents and Survivors’ Oncological Organizations.

Our mission is to guarantee to children, adolescents and young adults with childhood cancers the access to cure and a good quality of life during treatments and through the parents’ organizations to support their families.

FIAGOP was founded in 1995 with the goal to create synergies between the associations and guarantee an institutional representation, not only on a national but also on international level, in public and private institutions. The purpose is to improve and strengthen the services in the field of the italian pediatric oncohematology, to guarantee children and young adults suffering from tumors or leukemia their right to health and good quality of life, and to support their families.

FIAGOP is an active member and cofounder of CCI Europe, the european division of Childhood Cancer International, a worldwide organization made of 177 associations and federations from 90 countries.

FIAGOP organizes every year:
● International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) on February 15th - www.giornatamondialecancroinfantile.it
● September, for the international pediatric oncology month, one week of events to raise awareness - www.accendidoro.it
● Every year, the football event “Winners Cup”, to which young adults between 14 and 25 years old from different hospitals all around Italy and Europe participate, organized in collaboration with CSI Committee of Milan, AIEOP, Italian Association for pediatric oncohematology, and with the support of Pirelli and Internet FC.

For the first time this 26th of September the charity run IO CORRO PER LORO to support european research against childhood cancer.
